Curaçao, Bonaire and Aruba are small, sunny Islands in the Caribbean, near the north coast of Venezuela (South America), each with a population of less than 150,000. The Islands are related to each other by their connection to the Netherlands as parts of the former Netherlands Antilles.
Brahma Kumaris have been doing service for the people of Curacao since 1993, on a small scale through radio talks and lectures for families and small Hatha Yoga groups. In 1999 a Brahma Kumaris Center in Curaçao was officially opened and service in Bonaire and Aruba then also started. Since then many souls have taken benefit from the knowledge of the Brahma Kumaris, offered through courses, lectures, workshops and classes on a regular basis, to the community as a whole, irrespective of anyone’s background. Our aim is to transform the world through our personal transformation.
In 2003 the sub-center in Bonaire was opened and regular courses, lectures and classes are also offered there. The knowledge of who we are helps us to change and develop ourselves, and to grow in self awareness, understanding and general well-being. In the silence of meditation we reconnect with our true identity and recall our intrinsic qualities of peace, harmony, love, power and joy and share that with the world.
