“I can never thank BK Center enough and its members. Very depressed one late afternoon, nearly ten years ago, having just flown in from Cagayan de Oro, over burdened with problems I did not fully understand, I went straight to BK Center. I asked if I could just sit there with them in meditation. Yes, you are welcome, they said. Within minutes from sitting I sobbed and bawled my inner hurts and aches, my tears profusely flowing, I do not know for how long. The BK members who were quietly meditating just let me alone until sobbing died down and my tears dried up. I regained peace that night. I still have it.”

- Rudy Buhay Rodil

“I just want to thank BK for being a great support to me as Executive Assistant of the Archdiocesesan Center for Ecumenical and Interreligious Dialogue (ACEID) of the Archdiocese of Davao, founded by Archbishop Fernando Capalla. It is the pastoral arm of the archdiocese in its effort on peace building and establishing culture of dialogue. We have always considered the BK as our major partner in all our programs especially in education to personal peace and formation of values. In 1998 the Bishops Ulama Forum declared last Thursday of November till first Wednesday of December every year as MINDANAO WEEK OF PEACE. The BK have been vital force in facilitating and institutionalizing this celebration with their education seminar on values of peace. I take this opportunity to thank everybody at BK especially those whom I had the privilege to be my friends. Peace be to all of you!”
