Welcome to Brahma Kumaris in Edinburgh
The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (BKWSU) is a registered charity and an international spiritual organisation working towards world peace through personal change. Recognising that when we change, the world changes, the University offers people of all backgrounds, an opportunity to learn meditation and deepen spiritual understanding. Through a variety of personal development and educational programmes, the University provides a caring, co-operative and supportive environment which encourages and allows individuals to rediscover and bring out the best in themselves.
Recognising the intrinsic goodness of all human beings, the BKWSU uses Raja Yoga, a simple form of meditation that puts you in touch with your inner resources with the aim of creating a better world where people live in peace and harmony. All courses and events are offered free of charge as a community service.
The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University has been active in Edinburgh and the Lothians for over 25 years As a member of the Edinburgh Interfaith Association, the University has participated in many events and projects to further community understanding of universal principles and spiritual values.
