Ingredients:
- 1 package of asparagus
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 large red pepper
- 1 tbs dried basil
- 1 tbs dried oregano
- crushed red pepper to taste
- asoefatida (hing) to taste
- 3 Cups Bowtie Pasta
- shredded parmesan cheese to sprinkle
Cooking Instructions:
- Chop asparagus into 1 inch size pieces & steam in a covered frying pan in about 1/2 inch of water, once tender, drain the water
- add the olive oil and red pepper to heated pan
- add basil, oregano, crush red pepper, and hing
- boil bowtie pasta and set aside
- once the veggies are ready, reduce heat to warm
- stir in cooked and drained pasta
- top with shredded parmesan cheese
